I bought these for sun protection at the beach. So far I've only tried them on before washing them. They fit well because I wanted the waist to be a little southern than the natural one but not hit the ankles. Since I don't care that much (don't spend time on the beach, family doesn't count), it's not such a problem as it was this time. The fabric is pleasantly firm; daily laying bonus. The optional bottom fringe makes me happy, especially since they aren't long enough to reach the ankles. The item smells so horribly chemical that I suspect it is loaded with pesticides from the time it is delivered - it may take a few washes to get used to getting rid of the chemicals. Three stars for "simple satisfaction", "average". If they last 4-5 years I'll give one star!
