Thoughtful design, great looks

Update: Damn, like everyone else, one of my tabs came loose and the case won't hold up. This happened after a quick uninstall/reinstall at airport security, never had a problem. However, it is too expensive not to withstand such use. Folios are perfect for two situations: 1) you are carrying your airbook in a stack of other books, or 2) you want to open the case and work without taking your airbook out of the case. (The time you drop your car is guaranteed when inserting or removing it from a regular case or cover). There aren't many good folio options out there. PU leather looks cheap and smells cheap. The Sena Folio is made of beautiful leather, but the straps and pads that hold your airy book are bulky and unsightly, and the closure on the outside makes it difficult to fold or pack in a large bag. This Macally folio is the best of them all. That looks great. It has a clever locking mechanism, almost invisible but totally reliable (so far). Extra padding protects your car if it falls on an edge or corner. If the outside was leather it would be absolutely perfect. Instead, the case material is a very cool, metallically shimmering linen. I'm skeptical of how well this wears/cleans, but the folio mechanics are great. I can leather wrap mine when it's no longer looking fancy just to keep the rest.
