I'm using it right now and just had to stop and write this review. I bought this to use as a flashlight for my sewing machine - and if your machine is the same as mine there is nothing metallic to attach it to. So if you want it for that, forget it. So I attached it to a plate and use it to add some more light to take photos of my product. That's just a cheap strip of light that keeps falling out of the case. It was a very cheap item so I wasn't expecting much. and so i wrote this review and posted these pictures so you also know what to expect.
