They will not hold to 1472°
Great for grilling, super comfortable, but do not expect to pick up a 400-500° cast iron skillet and not have to set it down almost immediately.
Not bad for cleaning hot grill grates and such, but not insulated enough to withstand the advertised rating.

- Too big for my hands and very thick!
