I was surprised by the solid solid wood construction and the durability of the high quality wood and leg supports. The hinges are strong and the gate is high enough to prevent (many, maybe not all) dogs from easily jumping over it. The footrests are very useful to make them even more stable and to widen the parts of the gate a little. It is not light, it is of good weight and quite heavy. The dark finish looks nice and doesn't rub my hands or the carpet with use. I love that it's versatile and manoeuvrable to attach anywhere and whenever needed. Being made from painted wood it looks quite attractive for a dog guard and looks neatly folded and tucked away in a corner of a room when not in use. I didn't find anything negative about these dog guards as they are sturdy, well built and even cute. Thank you for reading.
