Review on Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse P58 00061 by Weston Metzger

I liked this Microsoft mouse because of the size/comfort in hand, no redundant buttons to be disabled by additional software (software) and no additional drivers to install manually when used with Windows. Now this mouse likes the drive because it has stopped working (the red light is still on but not responding). Just in case it might be a software conflict (I disabled updates anyway), I tried it on another computer: it doesn't work there either. (Now when I connect a mouse, I get the message "USB device not recognized" in all cases). I respect and appreciate Revain's robust returns policy. But after five weeks (a week after I've been able to return), the cost of returning it and not the willingness to beg/argue about it, I'll just move on. Buyers be careful.
