This is a good quality coat that will keep your dog warm. My dog has such a long back and thick neck that I had to increase the size but it does him good and keeps him warm. The coat is water resistant but not sure about the water resistance. Nice and warm and soft inner fleece. The dog is easy to put on as it goes over the head and then fasten the buckles on the back to lift part of the tummy. There are belt loops on the back legs to keep the jacket from riding up and not sticking in the wind. I only wish the back buckles were more adjustable as they fit my dog everywhere, but I'm sure it can be fixed with a needle and thread. I would recommend going at least 1 size larger than you measure.
