Review on Watson Compact Charger Batteries NP F730H by Erika Martin

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Difficult to use. The battery adapter is easier to remove than the battery

I chose this Watson C-4203 charger because it has a USB port (to charge other devices like cell phones). I also like the large charge indicator. Other devices have a small display that is difficult to see, especially with a battery installed). This one is big and bright. CONS: The charger uses an adapter plate to accept Sony batteries, however the adapter plate is easier to remove from the charger than the battery from the plate! It just pops out! Great difficulties. Also, I bought this charger to use with a Watson B-4206 battery (7800mAh) and it never showed up as charged! It was charging but the light didn't turn green. Maybe if I let it charge for more than a day it would eventually turn green. I placed the battery on a Sony AC-V700 desktop charger and it soon said "full charge". Let's get back to the Watson charger. still doesn't turn green (although the Sony charger just charged it!). Again, it might have been long enough, but all my other chargers finish this battery in the time it takes to reach its amp-hour rating. I put smaller batteries on this charger and it completed charging (i.e. gave the green light) in a reasonable amount of time. It's not worth sending back so I'm keeping it as a spare.
