The glass sphere is beautiful and transparent, Evie is adorable on the inside (of course it is Evie). This product is really disappointed with the cheap LED base. In the pictures it looks like they're mixed together into beautiful colors, but in practice they just randomly switch between blue, red and orange. Even when the two are lit at the same time, they don't mix the colors as much as giving Evie a red butt and a blue head (as opposed to a full purple). After taking the base apart to make sure there was nothing wrong with the soldering or anything, I can confirm it's just a design issue. It's still a cute little table decoration, but I might make my own base with a better combination of LED colors and orientation to get the effect the pictures seem to suggest. Not to say don't buy this, and not to say it's bad at all, but the photos on the listing are DEFINITELY misleading at best and outright lied at worst. However, this product is said to have seven colors. it just isn't the case. Wouldn't give this to anyone unless they're very good friends or you don't want them to think you're a curmudgeon.
