I was really hoping that this would be the answer to my problem. Headsets that cover or sit on my ears give me severe ear pain and make it impossible for me to wear them during long gaming sessions. I wanted a headphone solution to stop my ear pain. It looked like the answer! Unfortunately, they also hurt my ears. That's because the earcup has this clunky add-on attached (probably for noise-cancelling or amplifying game noise). Because they're so bulky, they're quite heavy and kind of end up ripping your ear off (and yes, I've tried different sizes of headphone cases and ear stabilizers to fix this). When they detach from my ear, the edge of the bud module rests against my inner ear and it has rough edges - so unfortunately they hurt me. Not the same kind of annoyance as other headgear - just a new set of annoyances. I must have thin ears! I wanted to love them but I can't get over how uncomfortable they are. Advantages: long cable, great sound, others hear me well and work with dissonance. Cons: Heavy and easily removed from the ears, especially with a microphone. attached, rough edges on buds. You will need to use a clothespin on the shirt to lessen the separation of the bumps. I've only used them a few times so can't comment on durability, but they've worked really well the few times I've tried them.
