I ordered ribbon to make Hawaiian mulberry fabric art. I liked that the tape wasn't acidic and malleable enough to not damage the art. However, I did not realize that it is so thin and not very durable. When I hung the picture from the V-Loops, the strap almost came loose under the weight of the fabric, even after significant reinforcement. I'm not an experienced framer myself, but I think I might choose a more durable option if it were available. It's a little hard to pull out, it helps if you fold the tape a few times and pull it back on itself. Be careful when you pull it out as the tape tends to stick to itself very easily and as it is inherently thin it cannot be straightened out afterwards.
