This monitor says it's 1080p, but at least it's only for gaming. Because any 1080p+ movie, video or TV series I play on this monitor looks like 720p or 480p - which is a shame. I used to have a TV as a monitor and it was much better suited for it than this monitor. The only thing I can't complain about is the games as the quality of the games is great. Also, the brightness and color bar is only good for gaming, it gets annoying when you try to use it for something else. Don't recommend this unless it's the best you can afford
