They're pretty sticky! I figured I could put it on the dash to hold the phone, grab it, and put it back. So damn sticky it came off the dash before my phone came off. This is intended for a "permanent" rather than a temporary attachment. But I wouldn't put my phone or tablet on it for too long, it might just fall off after a while. Overall I wouldn't buy it again. Didn't use anything good for it. Cons: Too sticky to hold the phone, grip the phone, return it permanently. The phone case almost broke trying to detach it from a friend's phone case. Will not attach to my truck's textured dashboard. This is probably one of the most useless items I've bought in a long time. like my sofa on the floor.
