Hard plastic in my opinion.
I ordered them for my husband in black size 13. He found that they were made of very hard plastic and the feet were not at all forgiving. It might be just what the other buyer wants. They weren't fabric or foam on the inside, which would be great for shower slippers, but they were just uncomfortable.

- I like the way they look but they give me blisters on the forefoot.
