The small Govee hygro/therm H5102 (glued to the mirror) looks good and the large numbers are easy to read. It is important to note that this device has a battery status icon. Compared to each other, the 2 Govees (2 CPUs in the picture) have the same temperature and humidity within the range of 3% + or -; Steps compare well with ThermoPro, but not with AcuRite (which takes too long to set up); Humidity levels vary widely between brands, so it's hard to tell which device is the right one. So far the Grovee seems to be doing very well as a standalone device. PROBLEMS WITH THE GROVEE HOME APP on my moto G7+ Android phone: The app looks nice at first glance and shows all connected Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices with the correct icons, but has annoying problems1. When the app is open, it should automatically connect devices to phones via Bluetooth to update and display current readings. But that rarely happens to me. Clicking the refresh icon in the app doesn't work. I usually have to restart my phone for Bluetooth to update. Even if the main page of the application is updated, in order to retrieve and record historical data, you must click on the device icon, this must be done for each individual device. Apparently this connects to the Govee website and takes too long to update, if at all. Very frustrating. If you don't do point 2 above, the next time you open the Govee Home app, the home screen will NOT show the latest recorded information. All of this requires an extraordinary amount of time and effort. software fix. Historical data must be written to the phone for easy updating and retrieval.
