I replaced the halogen bulbs in my kitchen cabinet light. We never used them because they got very hot. These LED lamps were the perfect solution. They fit perfectly and put out the same amount and color of light as halogens and they don't get hot or hot at all. They also black out well. We use these accent lights a lot now and they really make the kitchen stand out. Be sure to check the base of the bulbs you are replacing. There are 2 types of these lamps. These particular ones have a flattened base to fit the outlet.
