Gentlemen, I have been using these speakers for about 2 years now. They play in tandem with a YST-SW215 subwoofer, on an RX-V481 receiver. I do not use bi-wiring, as I did not notice much difference. Who speaks not for high end and so on. As a musician friend of mine said, in order to distinguish acoustics for $500 from acoustics for $3000, you need to have a hearing of at least $5000. If you want music - take three fives, look - hear the difference between them and the KEF Q700, take the last one. Don't listen to music experts. Go and listen to the same song on different acoustics through the same receiver at default settings - what you like is yours. I so-so chose these speakers (although the budget was not very limited).
