These elastic bandages are good for compression. My kids are very active and often sprain ankles or have other injuries that require a bandage so it's always nice to have one on hand. These bandages are reusable which makes them very valuable. They stretch well and the cotton fabric feels nice and doesn't irritate the skin. The Velcro is very sticky and is great for attaching a bandage. The length of the bandage is good, definitely enough to wrap around the ankle. It is important to note that some fibers have a rougher surface and feel different than the rest of the material. I'm not sure what the problem is here, but the softness is inconsistent. In addition, although Velcro fasteners are good for attaching bandages, they pull on the fibers of the bandage when unfolding and damage the material.
