I've been using it for less than 2 months and on a hot day the sticky bottom plate on the suction cup lost its stickiness and fell off. I used crazy glue to glue it back. Not only does it make a mess, but it's now a permanent attachment to the dash floor panel. This is until the bottom sticky flat panel decides to stop sticking. Don't be fooled, the sticky suction cup is not removable from the suction cup itself, it is part of the "top" plate and completely separate from the other sticky flat plate (bottom) that attaches to the dashboard. I do not recommend this. I'll look for something else when the bottom plate finally gives up. I had to send it back at my own expense but only got the crazy idea of the glue just because I needed it. This means that I cannot return it in this form. I'll take photos of all the parts (and the crazy gooey mess) once everything finally gives way. It won't be long now. *Update* It's been 6 months since my original review, as promised I now have the photos. I can no longer use this product. It doesn't last more than a minute on a plate, and when I put my phone on it I forget about it. Thus, this device consists of several parts. round foam disc, sticky on both sides. One sticky side goes to the dashboard and the other to a flat round plate. Oddly enough, the sticky part that connects to the dash is pretty tight and doesn't seem to come off at all. It looks like I have permanent foam on the dash. (By the way, that's not the part I superglued)2. A flat circular slab placed on a foam disc. (You will notice the gap between the foam disc and the board in the picture. This is the part that has lost its ability to stick to the stick and I super glued it on. It is also slowly dissolving so I just one round got foam, won't come off dashboard, find out )3. sticky suction cup that attaches to a flat round plate that connects to the neck and display holder for your phone. Part of the display you put together, but this part was pretty easy. This sucker is sticky too. It is meant to stick to the flat plate as it is held in place by suction. Neither one nor the other works. It has been dropped so many times that dirt and debris has stuck to it as you can see in the picture. All in all I used it for 1 month. Although not that expensive, it doesn't cost $20 for just 1 month usage.
