First of all I want to say that these are therapeutic booties, not your everyday ones, take your dog with you all day long as they will not withstand such use. The bottom covers wear out pretty quickly, but the neoprene shoes themselves are actually pretty durable. Overall I like them and my Rotties have no problem wearing them once they get used to them. If your dog doesn't like wrapping a bandage around his paw then that's great as it's soft and pliable. Easy to put on, stretch, wrap tightly, easy to clean and will not lick. A lot of reviewers complain that their dog rips them off, well, every boot gets ripped off as it's unnatural for a dog to have anything on their feet, but if you keep an eye on them they'll get used to it pretty quickly. As you'd expect, the Rotties play hard, and if someone hurts their leg you can give them some medicine, wrap up the booties, and they're good to go. I always keep four or five of these in my first-aid kit, it's a lot easier and more convenient than bandages. Only downside is the price as they are quite expensive. However, if you can snag a sale and a 20% coupon then they are definitely worth it.
