Review on Rit Dye Laundry Treatment Color Remover - Pack of 2 for Effective Stain Removal by Doris Tran

I bought this for some sheer curtains I had, light yellow/gold with brown stitching and small gray polka dot stitching. I thought I might need a bluish gray color, but I knew it might turn green if I tried using this color with a yellow gold base color. I put them in a simmering pot of water on the stove with two boxes of this bleach and they instantly turned creamy white. The seams have turned light brown and the small embroidered dots have also turned brown. I liked the result so much that I decided to hang them up without repainting. However, one recommendation is to make sure you do it in a day where you can open a few windows and breathe some breeze into your home. It has a very strong bad smell - I can't even identify it but my husband said it smells like something is rotting. We opened all the windows on a 40 degree day.
