Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Ultimate Weekender Backpack: Expandable, Organized, and Travel-Approved! by Liz Taylor

Revainrating 2 out of 5

No travel bag for me.

I bought this holdall and the Hynes Eagle 38L Flight Approved Weekender Carry on Back at the same time. I want something to use in place of a carry-on suitcase that doesn't slip on the handle and sits on top of a suitably larger suitcase, forcing me to use both hands on my suitcases. In my opinion this bag is more for carrying "business" stuff like laptops, tablets, cables, files, etc. Space for "travel" items like clothes, shoes, jackets, sweaters, etc. was extremely limited . I also found that the only way to carry my travel gear was to unzip the zipped portion of this suitcase and even then it doesn't seem to hold much. The handles are also uncomfortable. When open, the handles are closer to the back of the bag. When you carry the bag it tends/pulls forward as that is where all the weight is. The handles should be closer to the center of the bag, but this is not possible due to the design of the bag. I like the included charging cable; Just connect the battery to one end and the phone to the other. Basically I gave it three stars because I'm sending it back and I don't know anything about its durability or strength. I find the Hynes Eagle 38L Flight Approved Weekender Carry on Backpack better suited for travel. I can really pack clothes, shoes and other "travel" stuff. And yes, I can drop my tablet, phone and charging cables. I don't need and don't need a lot of pockets that by their design waste space in the pocket.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Good but not great
