Nice bottle except straw cap

Overall this is a very good water bottle. The outer fairing offers some grip and looks like it will take a decent amount of wear and tear. I bought a 40 ounce cobalt blue bottle and am very happy with the size and color of the bottle. The interior is made of stainless steel and the bottle is relatively easy to brush out on the inside. I haven't used it for hot drinks, but the ice lasts a long time for cold drinks - like sitting in a hot car all day. The two included lids are a nice feature, and the screw on the lid prevents spills. The straw lid will leak, so don't toss it in a backpack or bag with this lid on. The lids have a rubber strap attached with metal snaps. If you have extra-large cup holders, this bottle will fit in your car, but be sure to measure if you plan to use this - a 40-ounce bottle is 3.5 inches wide at the base. Overall this is a solid bottle at a reasonable price. .The reason I only gave this bottle three stars is because of the straw. The straw that goes into the bottle often falls off, so you have to remove the cap and fish in the drink to pull the straw around to put him back together. probably falls 60% of the time no matter how tightly it's attached I looked at various ways to permanently attach it but that would limit the ability to clean it and to be honest I didn't have to. as this is the main function of the bottle. This type of straw cap was the main reason I bought this bottle and I feel like I was constantly messing with the cap just to use the bottle so I am disappointed that it doesn't work properly. .Maybe I just caught a defective lid, but otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
