This item may last all season. It's plastic. The door does not close over the hanger. The part of the hanger that should be above the door is not securely attached to the front of the door top and may break at any moment. The sliding mechanism for changing the length of the temple has small teeth that act like a ratchet. I understand the goal - so that the wreath does not pull on the hanger. But again, there is no apparent mechanism for lengthening the temple. I tried to pull but was afraid of breaking the fragile looking plastic. There's no visible button or tab to press to release the grip, and the instructions are less than useless. Save money. Buy fixed length metal.
