I always read product reviews especially when I'm spending my hard earned money! I'm a certified makeup artist and I was in dire need of a ring light that would help me do makeup for myself and my clients in boring environments. This light works great and I love that it has warm and cool settings. Although this is my first experience with ring light, I highly recommend it for beginners as it is inexpensive and works when using the attached phone/camera stand. My only conclusion is that it's not very durable. , which isn't a problem unless you plan on moving it frequently, and it works best in front of you and nowhere else. I say that because I placed my vanity against the wall, so I needed a ring light on one side of the vanity which meant I had to buy extra lights (I bought a softbox, I think that's what it's called, I'll have a review on that later too) but they work well together on both ends of my vanity to to give me the coverage I need right now. I'll certainly upgrade at some point when I convert my loft into a full fledged studio but then again it's enough for now and it was a great purchase and it also came with a thin carrying case, a small velvet pouch - I'm guessing the phone stand and the assembly instructions . The height is over 5ft 4in and the light is adjustable which means you can tilt it back and forth. Hope this info helps :-).
