Review on SAMSUNG HW-Q950T Soundbar 2020: Immersive 9.1.4ch Audio with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Alexa Built-in in Black by Justin Hill

However, the surround back channel emulation didn't impress me and I ordered additional SWA-9000S wireless surround back speakers to pair with. The subwoofer seems a bit overpowered for the size of this soundbar, but you can turn the volume down with the remote. However, you can't control the volume of the surround back speakers with the remote, which is a bit annoying. I've owned the soundbar for a little over a week at the moment and have found that while it sounds good, it feels a bit unreliable. . So far I've encountered issues where the soundbar wouldn't always turn on when the TV was on, and also had issues where some of its surround sound settings were lost when the power was turned off. I tried updating the speaker's firmware using the SmartThings app to fix this issue, but the update process hangs and never completes. They also have a USB upgrade process for this soundbar, but it requires an additional adapter cable and doesn't seem to work properly either. I hope Samsung will address these issues in the future.
