Review on Convenient AUX Extension Mount: Flush Mount USB Panel Jack Cable for Cars, Boats, and Motorcycles by Ken Hamdan

Unfortunately my FJ's factory USB port would not integrate with my new radio. It was the perfect replacement to achieve that goal without losing the OEM look. It doesn't have the little rubber cover that the factory port has, but otherwise it's almost identical, but with a regular USB on the back. Installation was as simple as disconnecting and pulling out the old one, plugging in the new one, and plugging in the USB line (and the AUX line, if that's yours, it's not mine). Voila! Very clean looking facility. This is largely tamper-proof, no wiring required. I just need to know how to disassemble the dashboard or something. Once plugged in it's very solid and I can plug in a USB stick with no hesitation or slipping like I had on my switch panel on my last FJ. Good solid construction.
