Brand new slackliner. I like my new slackline, but I want to give some advice to other beginners. First, 100 feet is really long! I chose 100 feet for a number of reasons; I didn't want the lack of length to prevent me from using my line and I wanted enough room to grow. A shorter version would be perfect for this, I just didn't realize it at the time. 100ft is great but setup/takedown takes a little longer. In short, if you are at the front door and don't know which size to choose and you have no experience, just go for a shorter one. The line itself is of very high quality, as is the ratchet. I'm not worried about them wearing out over time. In fact, my only complaint is about the protection of the trees. They won't last long and I've already noticed that they're falling apart. No big deal, just use some towels!
