I bought this motor to attach to the motor mount and pulley and hypothetically it could work but I couldn't remove the nut and sprocket from the motor. I've tried pretty much everything from a regular socket wrench to turning the motor on with a wrench so it can unscrew itself. Whenever the nut is turned at the end, the rest of the motor shaft turns with it. No matter how hard you tighten or try to hold onto the sprocket and other parts of the engine, it will scratch the metal before the nut breaks. If you have an engine belt suitable for this, it will probably work just fine.
