These headphones are really built to take a beating, mainly metal with some hard plastic and I like to leave them on the ground and then accidentally step on them, it is unlikely to be harmed. The sound is good, no distortion. They adjust differently based on my hearing without getting damaged when I pull the earcup to make this adjustment. It's just solid hardware that sounds good without cramming them into your ears like in-ear headphones. They could only be more durable if they didn't have a volume control and there was a breaded metal sleeve over the cable.
