Judging by the videos and guides on the Internet, it is not at all difficult to replace an SSD with a larger one. I have not tried it yet, 256 + MicroSD from Samsung is enough for my eyes.
Pros
- A portable console with PC games that many have dreamed of since childhood. The very fact of its existence is already one great advantage. The console is light, hands do not get tired even after a few hours. There are many games, including the most relevant and modern. The main thing is that they are well optimized. The seller put an adapter for charging, for this a separate like. Runs quieter than a laptop. Works well even with a memory card.
Cons
- The 256 GB version has a glossy screen. Reflections are visible even during the game, which is annoying. The problem was solved with a protective matte film. There are many of these for sale. For me, this is not a drawback, but just in case, I will note. The steam deck is very wide, much wider than the switch. Some may feel uncomfortable. Not all games will run, even older games. Somewhere anti-cheat swears at steamdek, somewhere the developers themselves do not want to cooperate with Valve. Check the list of compatible games.
