Some reviews say they can't get it to work with lighter TVs, which bothers me a bit, but mine works great. The only thing I can think of is that they didn't pay attention to what they ordered. My TV that I hung weighs 16 pounds. I started with the set screw as loose as possible, so I had to re-tighten it to get adequate counterbalance. Does it work as written with a 5.5lb TV? Uh, I don't know, but it works great for my 16 pounder. Leaning against the wall, it is about 2-3 inches from the wall. Hiding the cable isn't the best, but it works. And the only other complaint is that it comes with a bunch of screws EXCEPT for the M4 which my TV requires but it had huge screws which I didn't see the need for. Our instructions for mounting a TV on a mount are pretty vague. Be prepared to look at your TV's instruction manual if you don't already have one, just to be on the safe side as to how deep the screws on the back of the TV are. Otherwise, given the price, I give it 5 stars.
