Good idea, stupid design. First, it will NOT work effectively without a metal filter, which is NOT included with the machine and must be purchased separately. By using paper filters, coffee grounds remain in the cup. Secondly, only one cup of coffee is possible without completely disassembling, cleaning and DRYING the machine because the steam from the brewing process infuses the grinder and all surfaces and areas of the grinding chamber. Freshly ground coffee (which needs to stay dry) turns into a sticky liquid (pictures) that doesn't allow for a second cup to be brewed. Third, when you take apart the 6 parts of a machine to clean it, not only is 6 parts a ridiculous amount of parts to clean, but coffee grounds are everywhere! After all, this machine wastes an incredible amount of coffee grounds. I do not recommend this car. I'm working on getting mine back. Cusinart had to leave while they were up front and throw them all out. Using a small grinder and a K-cup coffee maker is far easier, more efficient, and more productive than this horribly designed machine.
