Review on ๐Ÿถ The Dog Hair Product by Eli Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simply a masterpiece of hard rock (Manny Charlton).

Scottish band Nazareth released their most popular album Hair Of The Dog in 1975, for me it's probably their third best album after Malice In Wonderland (1980) and (1977) Ausser ohne grace. " Nazareth 1975 consisted of vocals Dan McCafferty 10-14-46, bass Pete Agnew, guitar Manny Charlton 7-25-41 and the late Darrell Sweet (drums 5-16-47), who died 30-40-99. Manny Charlton produced replacing Roger Glover of Deep Purple who produced the previous 3 albums, this will be Manny's masterpiece "Hair Of The Dog" (more bells please)!, one of those songs I loved a lot in my school days liked oh what a thrill listening to this song on my new Panasonic cassette deck I still enjoy this track I only listen to it half a dozen times a year "Miss Misery" propelled the band into the realm of the hard hard rock Sabbath great tune good weightlifting song Lament "Guilty" written by Randy Newman piano by Max Middleton Manny's guitar shines on "Changin' Times", Nils Lofgren's "Beggars Day", her own "Rose In The Heather, the band did wonders on Beggars Day, Dan's vocals are a sling here bowl ingredient, on "Rose Of Heather". . "" Saw the band slow down the tempo, Manny's guitar here being sweet as silk. "Whiskey Drinking Woman", the bluesy sound of this country-western tune had Nazareth fans asking. "Please Don't Judas Me" where Manny is playing the synth, this number has a Pink Floyd feel to it, Manny gives us more sophisticated guitar again, the bonus tracks feature her top 10 hits "Love Hurts", those by the Everleys Brothers in the 50's of Tomorrow "My White Bicycle", the melodic "Holy Roller" and the B-side "Holy Roller", "Railroad Boy" by the smoking rockers from Nazareth with Manny's excellent slide guitar. And you get 5 BBC session tracks highlighted by Frank Zappa's 'Road Ladies'. A great release from Salvo who has worked with Procol Harum, Slade and The Move did a great job.
