Review on Seura 43 Inch Weatherproof Outdoor Soundbar by Chris Litton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great outdoor TV with a few minor imperfections for cutting the cable

So far this has been a great purchase. Very strong construction, well protected from bad weather. It is located next to the saltwater hot tub and works great. I hooked it up to the Roku Ultimate and while the audio quality from the included soundbar isn't great, it gets the job done. The only downside so far is that ARC doesn't seem to work, so both remotes instead of one; and the image quality in the Roku menu looks terrible. It looks fine once you start the show, but the menu looks pixelated and the colors are like something out of an old arcade game. It's really very strange. In any case, this is an outdoor TV, so I didn't expect everything to be perfect. So I'm happy the way it is. My only advice to the manufacturer is that since most customers are transitioning to Internet TV, I would suggest adding a Roku, Android TV or similar to the set so that the waterproof remotes control the content and not just the TV. If I had cable TV it would be almost perfect. Since I don't, I have to deal with some awkwardness and figure out how to plug the Roku in, secure it, and still respond to the remote.
