Review on Casablanca 59164 Contemporary Stealth Ceiling by Christine Rogers

I ordered this fan and my friend helped me hang it up because I'm hitting 76. The fan didn't work. We called Casablanca because they advertise that if you have a problem they will send someone to fix it. I called the store that Casablanca told me to call and was told they wouldn't, I would have to take a fan to their store 20 miles away. We removed the fan and I took it to their shop. I was told they needed a new part which they ordered. About a week later I called the store and they told me the part didn't work so they ordered a new remote thinking it was the problem. I waited about a week and called the store again and was told the new remote didn't work. doesn't work either, so they ordered me a new fan. About a week later I got a call from the store saying they would come to my house and install a new fan for me, which they did. The new fan works great and I've been treated well by the people who run the place. For what Casablanca charges these fans, they validate what they say, what they will do if you get into trouble. If you buy one of the Casablancas fans, you'd better check how close is the nearest service center for their fans. They will not come to your home like they advertise. Lots of trouble for a pensioner.
