I've only been on my bike a few days and I've been using it to hell. I was able to put them on without a frame system. It's not the cleanest thing, but it's solid and the straps are all secured so they don't tip over. A roll top is good for keeping things dry, but since it's summer I just fold the top in and use it as an open back. As you can see from the photos, I can fit a backpack in one and a jigsaw for a jacket and blades in the other, with room for extra stuff if needed. Definitely recommend these!
