I wanted to try this on my new MacBook Pro after seeing my old MacBook keyboard getting greasy and worn. I've had this case for about a week now and I can say yes, it definitely keeps your keyboard keys and spacing between keys like brand new, but at a price. My typing speed drops by at least 10 wpm on average. You lose a lot of responsiveness and feedback from the buttons. Another problem is that when you close your laptop, oil gets on the lid, which is normal for everyday use, and you see smudges and smudges on the screen. I clean my screen more often than before without this case. I decided to remove this cover and continue with my old cleaning method of spraying isopropyl alcohol on a short-haired microfiber cloth and wiping the keyboard while the laptop was off. The keyboard looks like new and requires less maintenance, eliminating the need to wipe the screen every other day.
