I'm 5'8 and 180 pounds. About 35 pounds more than I should weigh. In the picture here it looks like it's waist-high, which is why I bought it. A line would help determine how much of my waist is left. It turned out to be close to my chest! This does NOT look very flattering. The dress is not tailored for a long torso like me. If you're of average height, this will probably work just fine. The material is great and very comfortable. This is a quality dress for the price but it just didn't fit. Tight around the neck and about 2 inches above the knees. I bought size 12.
