Review on Compatible Cartridges Replacement PGI 280XXL PGI 281XXL by Duane Kerr

I was afraid to buy another Cannon because now they all ran their printers with their exorbitantly expensive ink. But I have found that the 8520 can still use third party inks. This brand seems to work well. However you have to buy a full set of 5 cartridges for twice what I had to pay for 3rd party inks for my Cannon Pixma 922 which stopped working after 4 years (error code 5100). Does anyone know what that means? Is it fixable? But the printer seems to run out of ink too quickly and needs to be replaced every two weeks. Is it ink or printer? I'll let you know.
