When I ordered this I didn't know it was an all plastic frame. Because of this, it doesn't look as pretty as some of the other cat window hammock versions, but it exceeded my expectations and my cats loved it. Push sticks through cloth covers. I was a bit concerned about the fabric on the short sides because they attach by wrapping the fabric around the frame and closing with velcro. I've had several other cat things, cubes, beds etc that close with velcro and they never seem to be very secure. It is always released immediately, and the fabric falls off, and the cat falls to the ground. So I was a bit cautious about that. However it has been on the window for about 2 weeks and all 3 of my cats have been using it regularly and the velcro has not moved. Not the slightest relaxation. This allows my 15lb orange cat to hold it with no problem, the fabric stays in place. All this is attached to the window with 4 suction cups. There are handles for each suction cup, so after vacuuming the window, you can turn the handle for each suction cup and increase the suction power. I thought it was a smart idea, so I didn't just have to hope my arm strength was enough to squeeze the cups hard enough to get enough suction. All cats are big fans of this new place to be lazy and watch the birds and squirrels so I like it although it's not the fanciest cat hammock. It's easy to assemble, stay together, stay by the window, and cats love it. Ticks all the boxes! A good product!
