Like walking on clouds

I've *always* been a fan of the Saucony and that's about all I can think of, and with good reason. I tried other shoes only to come back to this brand. About me: Distance: 3.6 km (concrete/asphalt) in PM; 4 mile treadmill (AM) Arch Type: Average/Regular Foot Type: Neutral Width: Average/Regular Height/Weight: 5'6", 140 lbs Saucony Size: 7.5 (dress shoe size 6.5, boot size for thick toes 7) Preferred Offset: 12mm My favorite Saucony shoe has always been the Cohesion, especially the #7. I don't like the changes made to the 8, 9 and 10 (shoes feel more comfortable, are a bit stiffer and have lost the responsiveness the #7 was perfect) and I wanted more cushioning as I got older so I decided to try a few more options.Unfortunately the Cohesion is the only Saucony shoe with a 12mm offset.had to return them (see review). So I decided to give the Triumph a try. They're really cushioned shoes with a nice flexible midsole/platform. They're not as responsive as the lighter Cohesion, but they feel good. If you're ever into cushioning and... Flex If you have any doubts about the compatibility of the midsole, just try it with a pair of Mizuno Enigmas or other running shoes. her shoe. The difference was striking, at least to me. Love the design - the tongue is "attached" to the upper so it doesn't float and the shoe fits like a glove. It feels good straight away, it's nice that there's no break-in period. I had to do without the soft sock because of the tight fit, but this shoe has such good cushioning thanks to Everun technology that you don't need a soft sock. I gave it a star because it doesn't have a 12mm offset (the Triumph has an 8mm offset) and because my legs got a little "heavy" after a week of running in them. I've since started shooting it with Cohesion and have found that combo works for me. Hip/ankle injury after two runs in Ride so I returned to Cohesion. In the many years that I have skated at Cohesion I have not had any injuries and I hope that will remain the case with Triumph in the rotation. The time will tell. Not sure if the other offset is to blame, but just want to point this out to other runners who have been running with a specific offset for years and are having trouble switching between them.)
