My 10 year old son wears a size 10 in these pants. He is slim and short for his age (20th percentile). He usually has a hard time finding materials that don't irritate him - they are soft and loose enough to allow unrestricted movement. The belt is soft and does not cause irritation. But the best? bags. There are plenty of pockets for all of his treasures. These are the only pants I'm buying for him now - I've found a winner and I'm sticking with it.
