I always like to have pads on hand and in my opinion Nexcare makes the best. I'm allergic to latex and extremely sensitive to most glues, so I tried many different brands over the years before discovering this one. What I like best is the transparent membrane that completely surrounds the bandage. It offers a very strong bond in an extremely lightweight bandage. When used correctly, water and dirt cannot penetrate. The adhesive is strong enough to keep the bandage in place for days, despite multiple showers and washing my hands, but it doesn't leave me with the painful red welts that most adhesives cause. I'm sure I always have a box of them nearby.
