I used to have a large and bulky humidifier, but this one is small, light and works well. Love the color changing effects and the light helps show the water level. It shuts off safely when there is no water in it. It is less than 12 inches high and about 8 inches wide. Comes with a ball for cleaning hard water. The water in my town is notoriously hard, so a little ball is welcome. I don't need replacement parts (my last one required frequent filter changes), but I seem to have to replace the cleaning ball about every month. It comes with a small brush to help you clean it, but it seems pretty easy to clean. It has high and low setting, the light can be turned on or off. Very happy with my purchase.
