This is a good mascara but it doesn't beat the Maybelline fakes. .Wand: Hotla has shorter bristles and is straight. I prefer the curved applicator for the upper lashes, but it works really well for the lower lashes too. Effectiveness: I apply in three layers. The first shift went smoothly, there were no problems. When I applied the second coat I noticed my lashes started to clump. I applied a third coat and the problem continued. General Thoughts: I love this mascara, it adds volume, doesn't irritate the eyes, doesn't clump and doesn't come off easily. The only problem I have is lashes sticking together. Thing is, it doesn't beat the drugstore brand, and for three times the cost it really should be. Thanks for reading, I hope this review was helpful!
