I bought a used Mustang and although it was in excellent condition the plastic trim around the top was faded and discolored with white lines. Maybe it was the product used to protect the bodywork from paint getting on the fairing? After cleaning the plastic fairing with an all purpose cleaner and allowing it to air dry for a few minutes, I applied the plastic repair and it came out nice. . I had to take before and after photos but I was so excited to use this product. I really like the UV protection considering I live in Florida. Time will tell how it holds up and if the rain affects the coloring. Will likely be worked on with updates. Edit: added photos. Update: It's been a few weeks. The recovered black stays on the trim and I can't see the streaks after a little rain. I'll keep updating if anything changes, but my rating remains 5/5. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend
