I had a RAT 5 in the early 2000's before they went bankrupt and the build quality was great then too. I was happy to see that someone took over the company and started reproducing the product. Bought this to replace my dead Razer Ouroborus which is also a great mouse RIP. When I set it up and tied it to the thumb buttons I noticed that in games like Battlefield and The Division they only worked about 15-20% of the time, but in other games like Escape from Tarkov and PUBG they worked 100% of the time. I don't know what the problem is, but I can only assume that it's some poorly written software that can be downloaded from the company's website. There is "Download drivers and software" in the software, but it's a broken link. seems off as they had time to make sure the facebook link works. so i went to the facebook page and noticed that other people are also having issues with the firmware and software of this mouse but the comments are deleted soon after 24 hours. Me too, but in a ticket on the site and have been waiting for a response for almost a month. So I started browsing the contents of the folder and noticed the firmware update file, I ran it and nothing happened ha!. So at this point, I suspect the company is probably relying on profits from hardware purchases and skimping on cheap software. I hope they can fix these problems because what good is a gaming mouse if it can't be used in games. I give the build quality 5 stars and the software 1, so a total of 3 stars for this mouse.
