For me they were almost wonderful

I have had balance problems for a long time and lately my blood pressure has dropped dramatically when I work hard, especially in hot weather, leaving me weak and shaky stand up or lie down until my blood pressure rises. Prior to a recent regular doctor's appointment together, I had a power outage while climbing stairs while removing an overhead light. My wife got a good view of what was happening as she stood on the other ladder, facing me and holding on to the other end of the contraption. I should point out that we have doctor visits together because I'm hard of hearing and she's here to help with communication and because she doesn't trust me to tell the doctor everything. That's how the power failure was discovered and I was forbidden from climbing. stairs to the future. That's probably a good thing, because I often fall to the ground due to loss of balance and dizzy spells. The doctor felt my ankles and told me to wear compression stockings, so I assumed they were just there to reduce the slight swelling in my ankles. Not knowing the level of compression required, I ordered a box of these Bluemaple socks and two pairs of Best Medical Grade Compression Socks for $14.55. I went so far as to, after some effort, put on one of the most expensive so-called best compression stockings, only to almost cut it off to restore blood flow to the lower leg, even though it was only worn a few times. Minutes left an ugly red streak around my 14 inch leg below the knee. Needless to say both pairs were returned. for those suffering from my mix of low blood pressure and balance/vertigo issues as adverts for socks. While waiting for the order I had a pretty bad fall, pinched a wrist, and managed the conversion pretty well. my nose, the problem is that once I lose my balance I can't recover and a fall is almost guaranteed. I have to laugh at the medical forms asking if I've had a fall in the last 6 months or so because three days would be more appropriate. I wear these socks practically 24/7 from 08/30/17 and this is writing 07/05/17. Since wearing them I haven't had any episodes of hypotension, although it has to be said there hasn't been extremely hot weather and I haven't had to work hard. However, I haven't had a single dizzy spell, I've never fallen or had to stagger to regain my balance after getting out of bed or a chair. I just get up and go like many years ago. I still can't stand on one leg with my eyes closed, but that might be too much. The most noticeable, and for which I can give the numbers, was the change in blood pressure. There was no drop in blood pressure in the range below 90 and above 60 that would cause weakness and tremors. My lowest blood pressure so far has been 108-73. On the downside, I was a bit concerned about the climb because readings in the mid-130s to mid-80s were common but far from dangerous. If this continues, I can ask for the climbing ban to be lifted. Stairs at our next doctor's appointment. It took a while to learn how to easily put them on and take them off, but that's to be expected. They don't look like regular socks. I am so happy with them that I have ordered two more packs of black ones to use as both weekend socks and summer work socks. Holding up better than any sock I've ever had, I have no doubts that they also work well as inner liners for winter socks without adding too much bulk. Karl Leach.
