I bought this LED kit for the bed of my 2015 Ram 3500 Short Bed. This kit was better than expected in terms of initial quality. The LED strip is housed in a hard plastic channel which provides protection and a hopefully long lasting installation. I just installed them but they seem to be very good and hopefully will hold up well. I hid them under the bed rails, facing outwards to diffuse the light as much as possible. The Ram bed has a nice flat piece that you can glue directly onto the bed rails. Since I have a gooseneck prep kit and a fifth wheel, I was able to easily plug it into the bed's mains plug. Overall, the installation took about an hour as I was able to connect to a power source so easily. I would have waited longer if you had found strength elsewhere. The lights seem very bright and I took a few photos with the trunk lid closed. Cons - I wish the wiring was a little shorter from one part to the other and could potentially provide an extension if needed. It would be nice if 2 lanes passed energy to the next lane instead of just 1. Essentially you have 2 independent lanes on each side and the 1 in the middle allows you to connect one of the other lanes to it. Then 2 strips and another 1 strip are connected to a Y splitter to power all of them. It would be a good idea to start with the power at one end and transfer it from one side to the other.
